What We Do
At LifeWork Consulting, we believe in keeping things simple, and ensuring that each and every step of the coaching process is easy to understand and implement. We aim to be as flexible as we can to meet your needs. For maximum impact and benefit, there is the customized individual sessions which can be conducted face-to-face sessions or by phone or Skype. For those who are new to Career Coaching and wish to get a taste of how it can benefit you, there is the more economical and immensely popular option, where coaching is done via email and/or skype
All in, the coaching process is designed to help you identify your strengths and key career skills, and work with you to reach your desired career goal.
Through this coaching process, it is possible that emotional or psychological factors may be revealed that has impacted your career progress. If needed, we can find a suitable 3rd party (such as a relationship counselor) to help you resolve these issues and move ahead.
All in, the coaching process is designed to help you identify your strengths and key career skills, and work with you to reach your desired career goal.

Our Coaching Principals
- For coaching to be effective, you must be MOTIVATED to change, and be open to receiving advice and inputs on effecting these changes
- The Career Coach will focus on developing your career to its fullest potential. Your role is to take charge of your actions and following through, and be responsible for the end results.
- You know all the answers, not the coach. The coach will help you find these answers. The coach will teach you how to fish, not catch the fish for you
- The coach may not tell you what you want to hear. But he will tell you what you need to hear
- Focus on the future, not the past
- Focus and build on your strengths, not weaknesses.
- Celebrate the behavior more than the outcome
- Every relationship between You and the Coach is strictly confidential.
How We Do It
The first session will be a pre-consultation session and can last up to 45 minutes. Prior to this session, you will be asked to provide some basic information so that the discussion will be more productive. The idea is to allow you the opportunity to assess if coaching can meet your needs, and to answer any questions you may have concerning the process. This is also a time to allow both you and the coach to get to know each other. There is no obligation to proceed beyond this step, and all information will be strictly confidential, even at this initial stage.
